As a combat veteran living with PTSD, photography is that thing I do that keeps me from suck starting a shotgun. I know that is a jarring thing to read, but sometimes the truth is jarring. Landscape photography helps me disconnect from the world, find calm, and create in solitude. a place where I can be still in a world that never stops moving. Portraiture is where I pour the chaos. It lets me channel hard emotions into something creative - something beautiful, even when it’s raw.
