Session Fee $250
In the past I had different tiers for portrait sessions. Pay me more, you get more time, pay me more, you get more outfits and locations. I hated the lower tiers. Not because I didn’t earn as much pay, but because they always felt rushed, and that puts pressure on me to not waste your time and pressure on you to move quickly to maximize your time. and since I fully believe that a great portrait can only be made by a photographer who has made a personal connection with the person being photographed, I felt it was important to remove as much friction to that connection as possible. So, now everyone gets the top tier. And since I believe everyone deserves top tier treatment regardless of their budget, the top tier price had to come down, and print products have moved from packages to Ala Carte shopping. Everyone pays the same session fee of $250, due at the time of scheduling. That gets you up to 3 hours of shooting, in studio and up to 2 locations within 15 miles, up to and as many outfit changes outfit changes as you think you can pull off. From that session, you will receive 24-30 fully edited, high impact images handpicked for variety, quality, and uniqueness, no filler or duplicates; delivered via private online gallery.
Every session includes a pre-session creative consult 7-10 before the shoot that covers mood boards, wardrobe discussion, location and logistical planning, and of course, your goals
“But, Tony, other photographers will give me all of the pictures in my gallery.” Yeah, that’s not me. Many photographers are just holding down that shutter button and motor driving their shutter like a machine gunner at a dozen frames per second. You don’t need 12 images that all look nearly the same. This is a top tier portrait shoot, not a selfie session in the bathroom mirror at Applebees. I’m not going to fill your gallery with filler and fodder just to hit some magical number. Quantity isn’t quality. I shoot slower and with intent. you’re going to get the best images from your session without the second string. 600 images in a gallery will leave you with choice paralysis, and you’ll stress over which images you want printed. I will separate the wheat from the chaff and deliver to you only the cream of the crop.
